“Even hell holds no secrets from GOD — do you think he can’t read human hearts?”Proverbs 15:11 MSG
God can see behind the mask. He sees the purest and true heart of a person. Your darkest thoughts, deepest secrets, they’re all out in the open with Him. There are no secrets kept from God. For Him it’s like reading an open book. It’s all very clear. Re-evaluate yourself. What is in your heart? Are you holding on to things you need to let go of? Are worldly things taking up God’s space? It’s always good to take a step back and check yourself. Where are your intentions and are they true. You have to learn your heart, God already knows it from left to right. Take that as a security. No matter what others say, God knows the real you, your heart. The heart of a person reveals everything. Only worry about what God is seeing, not what others are saying.
This is my prayer for today:
I give you my life Jesus. You are my God. My heart is yours. Take it all.
“I give you my life
I give you my trust
You are my God
You are enough
My heart is Yours
My heart is Yours
Take it all, take it all
My life in your hands
I lay down my life
I take up my cross
You are my God
Whatever the cost
Jesus, whoa Jesus
All to Jesus I surrender
All to You I freely give
Oh I will ever love and trust You
In Your presence I will live”
I’m currently studying the book of Psalms, inparticually David’s Psalm. I’m picking it apart and interpreting it how I understand it.
“Look at this: look Who got picked by GOD! He listens the split second I call to him. Complain if you must, but don’t lash out. Keep your mouth shut, and let your heart do the talking. Build your case before God and wait for his verdict.
Why is everyone hungry for more? “More, more,” they say. “More, more.” I have God’s more-than-enough, More joy in one ordinary day Than they get in all their shopping sprees. At day’s end I’m ready for sound sleep, For you, GOD, have put my life back together.”
Psalm 4:3-8 MSG
Picking this scripture apart many parts of describe what God does:
* He listens the split second I call to him.
* I have God’s more-than-enough, More joy in one ordinary day.
* At day’s end I’m ready for sound sleep, For you, GOD, have put my life back together.
God doesn’t only do these things for David, but he does them for us too. I draw a connection from the words David wrote. God listens the split second I call to him. Whether I see it and understand it right when it happens or it takes a little time to set it, God is working. With God I have more than enough joy to fit into one day. I have all the joy in the world. When it’s time for me to put my head on my pillow at night I can sleep peacefully because God has put my life back together. A sinner’s life he’s mended. He’s washed clean. He’s forgiven.
Another part of this verse that stands out is “Keep your mouth shut, and let your heart do the talking.” God doesn’t always have to hear your words. God sees you right down to the core. He sees your heart, what’s real and true. You can’t cover up a heart whether it’s pure or tainted. Let it do the talking for you when you can’t seem to make words. Don’t try to trick God by covering up with words. He cannot be tricked, he sees your heart. He sees your true intentions. He sees your desires. If it’s him or not. So keep your mouth closed and let your heart do the talking. It speaks volumes.
I’ve never understood depression. I always see videos or posts of stories from people who have dealt and ovcercame depression. Recently within the past month I was hit with a taste. I never understood how a person could feel so low about themselves. I have a new respect for anyone dealing with depression. I hated myself. I hated everything. I felt emotionless. Now this was just a glimpse of what my life would continue to be like if I chose it. I choose to overcome. It’s so hard to fight your mind, but it’s something every person does. It’s hard not to give into thoughts. Thoughts that tell you, you aren’t good enough, you aren’t pretty enough, you aren’t small enough. You aren’t enough. I want to tell you that YOU ARE ENOUGH. It may sound cheesy, but someone out there needs to know that they are not alone. They are not crazy for their thoughts or actions. I encourage you to watch what you say and how you act towards people. Sometimes someone can feel so low the only need a little nudge to push them over the edge. Don’t be that nudge. Be the hand that pulls them back. I encourage you to seek wisdom in how to act in situations. Be a strong kind heart for not only you, but for someone else. Be happy. You can do this I know you can. We all need to see light. I love you all so much! Stay strong and happy early Friday M&M warriors.
